Columbus, OH

Privacy Policy

Columbus Porta Pros rents portable restrooms, dumpsters, trailers and site equipment across Columbus and Franklin County. To do that, we collect a small amount of information from the people who contact us. This page explains what we ask for, why we ask for it, and what we do with it afterward.

What information do you collect?

We collect what a rental quote requires and nothing beyond it. That normally means your name, a way to reach you, the delivery address, the dates you need equipment, and a description of the job. If you tell us your crew size so we can apply the OSHA 1926.51(c)(1) count of one toilet for 20 or fewer workers and one toilet seat and one urinal per 40 workers above 20, that headcount is part of your file too. If you are booking a portable restroom rental for a private event, we may collect the venue name and the expected attendance. If you are booking septic pumping service, we collect the tank location and access notes.

Our website also records ordinary technical information such as the pages visited and the general source of the visit. That data is used to understand which service pages people actually need, for example whether visitors are landing on porta potty rental cost or on construction site services, and it is not used to build a profile of you as an individual.

Why do you need this information?

To quote the job, schedule the truck, and service the equipment on time. Delivery pricing depends on distance, so we need an address. Unit counts depend on headcount and duration, so we need dates and numbers. Placement guidance depends on the ground and the setback, which is why the porta potty placement guide exists and why we ask about the site before delivery day. If the equipment sits in the public right of way, we may need to share limited placement details with the City of Columbus as part of a permit application, as described on porta potty permit requirements.

Do you sell or share customer information?

We do not sell customer information. We share it only with the people who have to see it to do the work: the driver assigned to your route, the service technician who pumps and restocks your units, and the vendors and payment processors that support the transaction. If a job requires a permit or a municipal inspection, we share only what that filing requires. We may also disclose information where the law requires it.

How long do you keep my information?

We keep customer records for as long as the business relationship and applicable Ohio and federal recordkeeping obligations require, then dispose of them. Service history is useful, because a returning customer who books handwashing station rental or grease trap pumping every season should not have to explain the site layout twice.

How is my information protected?

Access is limited to staff who need it for dispatch, billing or service. Paper job tickets stay with the crew running the route and come back to the office. We ask customers not to send sensitive personal identifiers, payment card numbers or account credentials through website forms or text messages, because those channels are not built for that kind of data.

What choices do I have?

You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to stop contacting you about future rentals. You can decline to give any detail that is not required to deliver the service, though missing information may limit what we can quote. You can also browse the site without contacting us at all, including reference pages such as osha portable toilet requirements, ada restroom requirements and how many porta potties do I need.

To exercise any of these choices, or to ask a question about this policy before you book, start at request a quote if you are ready to price a job, or reach the office through contact and we will route your request to the right person.
